Registered to this run as my 1st official run for 2014. Organizer is 7-11 convenience store called 7-11 Run 1000 as a celebration of their 1000th store opened in the Philippines.

And the best that happened to me this run is I got my 16k Personal Record of 1 hour and 39 minute.

Star City, Pasay_Family Trip

Activity: Family Trip

It's a yearly visit to this place for my daughter. Unfortunately, she didn't enjoy it much this year because this year is the transition year for her. Transition year because she's already not allowed to ride the "kids only" rides as she is too tall enough past the limit.

But not tall enough to ride the extreme rides like these:

So she just got contented on the few rides where bigger kids like her are allowed.

Adding the different attraction sites specially the Ice World that she really enjoyed.

Even though she got frustrated of being restricted to ride on the kids only rides, it still ended her up with a great smile.

    We stayed in the park until closing at 12mn, until we got very tired and almost used most of our energy. So before going home, we took our very late dinner but very early breakfast.

Fun Ranch, Pasig_Family Trip

    My sister give a gift to my daughter a free rides at Fun Ranch in Tiendesitas, Pasig. It will expire on January 27 so when I got an off from work on week-end, I ask my daughter to go before we forget and go the free rides to waste.

 

   This place is really kid friendly.
   My daughter enjoyed roaming around......

Much more enjoyed the free rides........

While me, I enjoyed playing the lights......

After 4hours of walking and running back an forth, we're tired and hungry. I said "enough for today", she said "ok, let's go back on another day", haha!!!

So we went to the nearby SM mall and had our dinner there.

Aseana City_Santa Runtantan

I planned this to be my December official run but already a week remaining before the run, I am still unsure if I can register and join due to budget constrain. Fortunately, I got a good samaritan running officemate Juls who volunteered to pay my registration and just pay him back the next payday.

On the day of the race, gunstart is at 5am, but I woke-up 4:30am. I then texted my officemate not to wait for me and just go with the pack and I'll just meet him at the end of the course. I arrive at the starting line 30mins late. Run hard trying to chase the 16k pack and I finished it 1hour, 44mins and 57secs. Just 43secs short to meet my 16k PR.

I got these items for finishing the course. Just like the saying goes, "its better late than never", haha!! :-)

That would be all for now.... Not much travels and outdoor activities I did for this December due to parties and invitations left and right due to holiday. I'll be back this 2014 with more pictures and stories.
